Pakistan and India are two different countries but every year on the Independence Day of these two countries when they come to Pakistan on August 14 there is a special kind of debate.

But the two countries became independent at the same time on August 15 under the Indian Act. We will try to tell you on the basis of some evidence that Pakistan and India became independent on the same day on 15th August but why Pakistan celebrates independence on 14th August stay with us.

You should know that a lot of articles are written on it every year but this quarrel does not end and the next year comes again and this is how the series goes. Why do two countries that were liberated at the same time and liberated under the same ears finally celebrate their Independence Day separately?

But why did the British liberate it only on 15th August! An important point is that Lord Mountbatten chose it because the Russian armies surrendered to the Allied forces in World War II on 14 August 1945, so Mount Bitten gave this date its due.

Therefore, he considered the decision of India's independence to be appropriate only on15 August , rather than any other date.

 
Did Pakistan become independent on 15 August or on 14 August 1947?

The first gazette after the independence of Pakistan was issued on 15th August 1947 in which Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was informed that he would be sworn in as the first Governor of Pakistan. Therefore, when Pakistan became independent, Quaid-e-Azam in his first interview with Radio Pakistan clearly stated that Pakistan was created on 15th August 1947.

Let us now mention some of the evidences which prove that Pakistan became independent on 15th August 1947.

The British Parliamentary Act of India clearly states that Pakistan and India came into being on the same day, August 15, 1947, as well as in Pakistan's first dock ticket in July 1948. 

Pakistan came into being on 15th August 1947. In addition, an invitation from the Press Information Department of Pakistan, Karachi, stated that Pakistan came into being on August 15, 1947.

Another proof is given that among the annual holidays announced by the Home Minister of Pakistan for December 1948 was the Independence Day of Pakistan on August 15, 1947.

My friends, if we keep all these facts in mind, it proves that Pakistan became independent on 15th August 1947, but then why Pakistan celebrates its Independence Day every year on 14th August 1947 instead of 15th August 1947? Celebrates

Therefore, we have some evidence and reasons to help us understand why Pakistan celebrates its Independence Day on August 14, 1947.

Unavailability of Lord Mount Button:

The last Viceroy of India was to send troops to the two independent states of India on August 15, 1947, but at the same time two ceremonies were held at two places, one in Karachi and the other in Delhi, both at Lord Mount bitten. It was not possible to be in places.

In India, on the night between the fifteenth of August 1947 and the fourteenth of August 1947, celebrations were declared all over the country and this was included in the Act.

Let me tell you, it was not just the absence of the Viceroy Mount Button in both places, but the real issue was that he wanted to be the Governor-General of both countries at the same time.

It was informed at the meeting that flags would be hoisted and celebrations would be held in all government offices on August 14, 1914.

A regular summary was prepared at this meeting which was confirmed by the Governor General of Pakistan and published. One of the major reasons for this is that 15th August 1947 was a Sunday and all the offices were closed so the celebrations could not be held in the offices so Quaid-e-Azam decided that Pakistan's Independence Day was 15th August 1947. Not to be celebrated on August 14, 1947.

You should know that one of the main reasons for celebrating Pakistan's Independence Day on 14th August is that there was an important issue on that day regarding Kashmir. In India, there is a movement against Dogra Raja in Kashmir. 

The main reason is that the Dogra Raja has martyred many innocent Muslims. An excellent meeting is held in which Allama Muhammad Iqbal also participates. It is decided that Kashmir Day will be celebrated on 14th August every year and Kashmir Day was celebrated till 1947.

We invite our campus alumni to continue with us for masters study in the UK.

15% Alumni scholarship for Ningbo, China and Malaysia campus students coming to Nottingham UK, 2019 entry.

To be eligible, you must have firmly accepted an unconditional offer for a full-time masters degree programme (excluding MRes) at our Nottingham campus in September 2019 in any subject area.

Who is eligible to apply?

You can apply for this scholarship if you:

• have successfully completed or are in your final year of a full-time undergraduate degree programme (not 2+1, 2+2 etc.) at The University of Nottingham Ningbo, China, or The University of Nottingham Malaysia* AND
• are classed as an overseas student for fee purposes AND
• have firmly accepted an unconditional offer to study for a new full time masters degree programme (excluding MRes) at our Nottingham campus in September 2019, any subject area

• *As part of the award criteria, we will be checking evidence of successful completion/graduation with The University of Nottingham Ningbo, China or The University of Nottingham Malaysia
• This scholarship will be given once an application form has been completed and evidence of previous successfully completed study at The University of Nottingham Ningbo, China or Malaysia is received
